'catch-up' dinner

Made a dinner Appointment wit one of dad's good frens. well, he DID offer to give me advice on ANYTHING and told me to just call if anything. well, i'm taking up his offer right now. Anyway, mom said it'd be a great idea to seek his advice and at the same time letting him know about the place as he can give views and obviously advice (been using this word a lot in this paragraph). on the OTHER hand, he is in the position to be able to pass the word around in dad's community much better than me.

But most of all i suppose it's ALWAYS a good idea to get advice from older, wiser business veterans. ah well, we'll see i suppose. kind of in a drag to go though. moreover, there's the Chinese Lunar 7th Month prayers thingie starting tomorow all the way to the weekend. I guess as a son, i'd have to do it and it DOES make mom feel better. so, i dont see a bad thing in it. besides the smokiness n all. ah well. one reason outweighs the other i guess.

Oh, probably heading to Kota Kinabalu the 1st weekend bro's back in M'sia. from the 8th til 12th Sept. 5 days should be enough. Been a long time since the last Family vacation. Hope it'll turn out real well. This time round, a new family member is following. i think i need a new camera bag. one to fit my notebook too. hhmmm Lowepro? Crumpler? hhmmm
